Colors in Swahili

In the third lesson, we are focusing on the colors. The first four colors in the table need a class noun to be identified so as to place the correct prefix to be grammatically correct . For example: Mke Mweusi ( Back wife) Kiti Cheupe ( White Chair ) and Moyo Mekundu ( Red Heart ). However the rest of the colors can ya said independently. Rangi ya.... means color of... in Swahili. You will see this often in color because colors in Swahili are often named after physical items which have the color. For Example: Rangi ya machungwa = Color of Oranges. So if you know the items which are used to name the colors in Swahili, then you will know many of colors in Swahili.
